iPads donated to NS Oncology Cancer Center

The Dr. Patrick J. Dineen Memorial Foundation is proud to announce the purchase and donation of 22 Apple iPads. These iPads were donated to North Shore Radiation Oncology cancer center in East Setauket, NY. Patients will be able to use these iPads for the duration of their visit while they undergo cancer treatments. The Dr. Patrick J. Dineen Memorial Foundation would like to thank the 2011-2012 Suffolk PAL Mite Gold AAA Team for their efforts in fundraising during the holiday season! The second annual Skate for Corey at the Rinx in Hauppauge, NY was held on Sunday, December 11, 2011. The hockey community was again working hard to help those in need. Corey Beattie, the now 19-year-old granddaughter of the Rinx owner, is continuing to recover from a very serious car accident that resulted in a broken neck as well as severe Global Brain Trauma. On Saturday, November 18, 2011, hundreds of people enjoyed food, drinks, and pre-holiday merriment at Farrell's Restaurant in East Islip, NY. This location is special to family and friends of Dr. Dineen because of a Brooklyn-Dineen-Original Farrell’s connection that is over 50 years old.
